 The Shelbourne is located on the Northside of St. Stephen’s Green on the corner of Kildare Street. The entrance to leafy St. Stephen’s Green park lies directly across the road from the hotel’s main entrance. Dublin’s premier shopping district Grafton Street is a 5 minutes’ walk away. Many of Dublin’s main tourist attractions are within easy walking distance of the Shelbourne, such as Trinity College, the National Museum Of Ireland – Archaeology, the Science Gallery, and Dublin Castle.
Room Rates At The Shelbourne
Standard doubles start from €167.00 per room per night, excluding breakfast. This rate is available for bookings made at least 30 days prior to arrival. Short term bookings start from €209.00. Larger doubles with king size bed and a view of St. Stephen’s Green to the front of the hotel start from €279.00 per room per night. Breakfast is charged extra. Junior Suites are located in the historic part of the Shelbourne and have access to a private lounge. Prices start from €329.00 per night, excluding breakfast.

Facilities
The public rooms at the Shelbourne are classy and have more character than average hotel bar or restaurant facilities. Whether you prefer the bling of the Horseshoe Bar or the discreet charm of afternoon tea in the Lord Mayor’s Lounge, the Shelbourne does what it does well. The Shelbourne is the only hotel in Dublin to offer a genealogy service for hotel guests who would like to trace their Irish ancestors. Bedrooms are well appointed but relatively small by today’s standards. It is worth paying the extra for a larger room with park view. Bedrooms have high speed WiFi Internet access, which will be charged separately. All bedrooms feature 32” LCD flat screen TVs, CD stereo systems and marble bathrooms.
