The Clarence Dublin
Come to Dublin and stay in a hotel owned by real life rock stars. Not any obscure rock stars either, because The Clarence is the pet project of Bono and The Edge of Irish rock group U2. As you would expect of a hotel with such a pedigree, the Clarence is lavish, it is as comfortable as a cocoon and it is very chilled. It is that rare kind of hotel where you can come down to breakfast in your hotel slippers and feel perfectly at home.
The Clarence is located on the South Bank of the River Liffey, opposite Grattan Bridge. One side of the hotel enjoys views over the Liffey, the other side overlooks Dublin’s cultural quarter Temple Bar. Step out of the hotel’s main entrance and you find yourself opposite the Project Arts Centre, one of Dublin’s hippest theatres. A five minutes’ stroll over cobbled lanes brings you to the Temple Bar Market, the Irish Film Institute and the Button Factory music venue and nightclub. Dublin Castle is a few minutes’ walk up the hill. Step out the riverside entrance of the Clarence and the banks of the River Liffey invite you for a stroll.
